About Troop 233

Troop 233 emblem

Charlotte's first Scouts BSA girls troop, established in 2019. Based at Sardis Presbyterian Church, we are part of the Etowah District of the Mecklenburg County Council.

At Troop 233, girls start with their best right-now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It's fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today — and for life.

"We are not a club or a Sunday school class, but a school of the woods."
— Lord Baden Powell

What We Do

Adventure

Our girls go places, test themselves, and have one-of-a-kind adventures that build character and self-reliance through outdoor activities.

Leadership

Fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility help our girls become the best version of themselves.

Service

Service to Man is Service to God. Volunteer work, service projects, and BSA-led initiatives are outreaches from Troop 233.
